WHAT IS XELLO?

Xello is a full K-12 College + Career Readiness Platform available for you through LaunchPad! Xello is a great resource for you as you begin to explore options to form your post-secondary goals.

How to access XELLO:

  1. Open LaunchPad
  2. Click on XELLO
  3. Begin your research!

 

On the homepage, you will see four icons (Home, About Me, Explore, and Plans) that you can click to begin exploring XELLO.

About Me:

In the About Me section, you will find various quizzes that will help you explore careers that you might find of interest based on your responses.  You can also create post-secondary goals for yourself within this section.  Another great resource in the About Me section is the resume builder!  Take the time to enter in all the things you have been involved in throughout high school to create your academic resume!  There is also a spot for you to work on creating a portfolio!  You can showcase your skills, creative work (think art school/music programs), or what you’ve learned.  You can add different types of media, like videos, social media posts, blogs, journals, or websites.  XELLO has sample portfolios for you to view that focus on artwork, school projects, or career readiness!

Explore:

I love the EXPLORE section of XELLO!  When you click on Explore at the top of the homepage, you will see that you can explore thousands of Careers, Schools, and Majors!  You can also explore post-secondary pathways and what they might look like.

 

Plans:

In the Plans section, you can make future plans and set personal goals! Great way to hold yourself accountable to ensure you are working hard to make your post-secondary plan a reality!

SENIORS + XELLO - VERY IMPORTANT

If you are applying to schools using Common App - you MUST link your Common App + XELLO account and Request Documents through XELLO.

  • Counselor + Teacher Recommendations will be done through XELLO for those applying with Common App.
  • Transcripts will be requested through XELLO for those applying with Common App.
